At South Kirkby Academy, we ensure that the safety of all our pupils is paramount. We recognise that ICT (Information & communication Technology), the internet and communication online can support children’s development and enrich learning experiences in a technologically evolving world. The increased use of technological devices such as laptops and PCs, mobile phones, tablets, e-readers and gaming devices is becoming commonplace and so it must be a shared responsibility to ensure that children are safeguarded online and that they know how to appropriately use them.
